Awards of Excellence
To apply for the Awards of Excellence, complete the application form and describe on a separate sheet of paper your county project. Please note that you must indicate on your entry form the category in which you wish to compete. You may enter more than one category, but not within the same project.
Community Service Award
Winners will be chosen from the information provided only, so please be specific. Indicate how the project was chosen; give planning details; tell how many people benefited; indicate how much money or time was donated; tell us how many volunteers participated; and describe the impact of the project on the community. Awards include the following:
- Best Health Information Program
- Best Community Education Program
- Best Youth Oriented Program
- Best Adult Oriented Program

AWARDS OF RECOGNITION

AMA Alliance Health Awareness Promotion (HAP) Awards
This award is dedicated to health promotion programs and projects. All state and county alliances and RPS/MSS groups are encouraged to enter one program or project in each category. It is important to recognize certain programs and projects that promote one's well-being.
Florida Medical Association Alliance Membership Increase
Winners are judged on the increase of membership based on your county alliance previous membership year.
Winners are judged on how many members you serve, your budget, writing, layout, content and design.
PEGGY WILCOX AWARD
This award is for outstanding service as an individual to her community.

An award given to partners who volunteer their time to organized medicine.

The Jill Edison Legislative Awards are presented at the Florida Medical Association Alliance Annual Meeting. These awards are given to one county Alliance and an individual for excellence in legislative education and projects.
